1.4.6 purple lines

Just updated to 1.4.6 and noticed that some blocks will have an outline of purple. as if there was an 1/8 of a pixel that was purple and covered the edge of each block.

Hmm... Looks like mitmapping. Have you checked your Video card's control panel for this option? and/or anti aliasing?

for some reason the java runtime environment 3d settings were changed so that Anti-aliasing - FXAA was off when I changed it to be on a while ago

Can you please explain how you fixed it? I have the same issue with the water. I also see outlines for sand and other blocks.
