Minecraft Wont Fully Download

Im trying to download the game but it stops at 0%-40% in the launcher. Please help, I have the most recent Java and im running Vista

Hi there!

When you launch minecraft, go into options and press "Force Update". It'll then grey out, and say "Will Force!"
Then. launch minecraft as usual. It should update.

re download the launcher, and reinstall minecraft. Also Update your java version, if it is out of date.
