Hello, I'm having troubles playing minecraft, because while I'm playing the fps drops from 140fps to 2 even 1fps, another issue is that from point A to B it runs smoothly, but from point B to A, it freezes.
This happen to me since 6 months and my computer is recently new.
Intel CORE i7
8GB RAM
Windows 7
NVIDIAGeForce GT 640M
*FPS drops is some specific locations, and random locations.
*While playing only Minecraft is open. Sometimes Firefox.
*I want to use mods as the last resource.
Please help me! D:----EXTRA INFO-----
I have tried changing video settings lo low.
I mean: 1-Render distance "tiny"
2-Particles "Minimal"
3-Max FPS
etc...
I had this same problem before. All that i did was open up my GPU with a debugging screen (i used Nvidia precision which you can download from their site) and saw that my GPU was running at a very low clock speed, you can fix this by setting your GPU to "default" active settings within the debugging menu (there is a button that you can see right when you open it). If you have any other questions just ask
I have tried giving Minecraft more memory, "Thread 1" appears like an error, it opens the black screen thing but it closes immediatly, and "Thread 2" seems to not be working I changed a while ago to 6114M or something like that and now I have it changed to 2048M but it made no change at all.

To take screenshots in minecraft, use "F2"
To upload, upload them to an Third party image hosting site (Imgur.com)
Then make a spoiler(Remove the spaces) [ Spoiler ][ /spoiler ]
Put your cursor In between the two spoiler spoiler tags, and press the Image button, it looks like a old Polaroid with a tree on it.
Copy the URL from the image hosting site. the whole URL needs to end in .jpg, .png or something along those lines that is a image format.
