I really just want to know if this is a known bug or something that's happened to someone else before. I'm playing on a whitelisted vanilla server in version 1.4.5 and when I logged out yesterday I had 15 stacks of iron ore smelting in as many furnaces with a full stack of coal as the fuel in each one. Now I logged on today and all of the furnaces are completely empty of iron ingots, ore and coal, including my other 9 that had coal in them but were not smelting.

I immediately thought I might have been stolen from but in the two months I have played on the server that has never happened before, and not a single item in any of my storage chests in the same room was taken, not even my diamonds or the numerous iron blocks in one of the chests.

So could it be a bug then?

It also could've been lag of some sort or the server crashed. One time I was holding almost a stack of iron ingots IN my hand, and they disappeared from everything. I thought that the lag might have put them back into my chest but they were gone........forever. At least you had plenty more right?

That may take awhile, lol. It's a survival server so I lost about 3 hours worth of mining iron and a ton of coal when this happened. I can recreate the same scenario but with less coal and iron in each furnace, but I'd rather not lose more than a thousand resources again.

Edit: Now that I think of it, the server has rolled back before but my furnaces would still have coal in them at least if that were the case, because they've always been well-stocked with coal.

Never mind, just found out it was the server owner who did it. Not even as a prank or anything. I'm assuming he thought I cheated it or something, although I have no idea why he would think that. Anyways it's not a bug so don't worry about it happening to you if you're in 1.4.5, lol.
