So I started a multiplayer game with a couple of friends of mine. Unfortunately, I died and as I did, the game crashed. Now when I try to restart that save (even when I transfer the folder to play singleplayer) I seem to be stuck in this limbo like world and then it crashes again. *Sigh*

Did you try reinstalling minecraft? Deleting all folders, except for saves and screeshots, and then logging into the launcher again. Make sure to select "Force Update" in the options.
I certainly did!
I have the feeling it's the actual saved game file that may be corrupted since the crash or something. When it opens up it's like I'm in limbo or the like before admitting to actually crashing. Heh.

Haha yeah, i understand. Well if that's the case, try making a new world just to check.
Also, make sure any antivirus or Process monitors aren't blocking Minecraft files. I have Comodo, and i know it can be a pain when it does block them.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help!
