I bought minecraft some time ago, and it was working on my computer until a recent patch, now whenever I log in, the client will just shut down, and when I try it in the browser, the screen just goes white.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling Java, reinstalling my video drives, everything I can think of, and none of it is working. '

I would consider downloading the latest Catalyst Suite, then uninstall any installed drivers, reboot.
Run Driver Sweeper, reboot.
Then try installing the Catalyst Suite.
I know you said you had installed drivers, but likely something is hung up and doing the driver sweeper step will clear out any unnecessary files left over after uninstalling.

Ive installed Catalyst suite, and removed and reinstalled all the drivers with that. Minecraft still will not work and it causes my computer to crash, so I install all my drivers manually, insuring that i remove a driver before I install.
I'm fairly good with computers and have has problems with games such as battlefield 3 and Red Faction Guerilla, and have fixed them all, this is the first game I haven't been able to work the bugs out and the first time I've come across such a problem.
I did notice when looking closly at the crash report it states " Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows" so now I'm trying to figure out how to enable minidumps. Cant find anything tho

Is related to an ati driver file, however it could be a java problem. Have you did a complete uninstall of all java installs and then reinstall as Mikko initially suggested? Make sure if you have a 64bit OS that you're running 64bit Java.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling Java, reinstalling my video drives, everything I can think of, and none of it is working. '
