Hey! I've got a problem installing Minecraft on my laptop. I got a new laptop fairly recently and it runs Windows 7 and, thus far, it has been incapable of connecting to Minecraft.net. I can login just fine on the website and I can download the installer but I can't login in the launcher, every time I try it says it can't connect. Also, every time I open the launcher it resets the Windows color scheme to a basic format because it isn't compatible. The area in the launcher where the update info is supposed to go is covered in coding and the occasional legible word. I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem and how it may be resolved, Minecraft worked fine on my Windows Vista desktop. Thanks!

I am having this same issue minus the desktop changing color schemes. Posted an email to Mojang a few days back but itll be a while until they get to it. The strange part is that it worked fine until a month or so ago and then just stopped being able to connect!
