While playing the game, I seem to keep getting blocks that'll pop back to a previous spot after I tried to move them. This is most commonly seen after I try to put something away in a chest, only to close the chest and have the items pop back into my inventory as if I never moved them.
It's getting quite annoying to have to dump my various blocks three times or more until they stay in the chests, so a little help would be appreciated. If you need any other specs, just let me know.
Specs: Minecraft 1.4.5
Java 32bit & 64bit, (verified that I have Version 7, update 9)
Processor: i7 950, 3.07GHz
Memory 6.00 GB triple channel RAM
Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Are you using a tackpad instead of a mouse? You might not actually be placing the items in the chest, you may be, exiting the menu, the items drop and go back into your inventory. And in seriousness, Mouse drivers, yes there is such a thing.
