i have never heard any minecraft sound ever in the entire 3/4ths of a year ive been playing it. so i really want to know how to fix this.

Info you may need to know to develope a diagnosis-
*i played a cracked version for a while, then bought minecraft legitly
*when ever i play minecraft in browser and turn minecraft sounds or music on, the screen turns white and i am forced to close
*when played in window and minecraft sounds or music is on, the screen turns white and closes automatically
*i have deleted and re-downloaded minecraft and nothing changes

"# Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows"

Are there any remedies for this?

It still does not work. Is there still something i can do i can do?

I've had the same problem - Just tried out NoBodyCare's suggestion with fresh everything, completely removed any minecraft - related programs or mods from my computer and started anew to no avail. So, everything is updated, as far as I know. Would be great to get a fix for this. It's quite annoying, especially when playing a multiplayer PVP server, to not have any sound whatsoever haha.

Load a world and wait a few minutes
Other then that are we allowed to post the resources files?

i read the crash report and it said this
