After figuring out (from the forum) how to download the updated flash and java files, I continue to get crashes when I try to start the game. I have saved the error report, but I do not see a support address where I can send an attachment. What is the next step?
Posting your error report here is the best bet. Mojang is a very small company, they can't handle the amount of support requests they would get. So they rely on us, the community, to help sort out most of the support issues.
Here is the report: I hope someone can help, because I bought my 9 year old grandsons a new MacBook Pro, and they cannot play Minecraft -- the only thing they really want to do right now!!

From what I read, Oracles Java7 for OSX doesn't work well with lwjgl. You might need to use a experimental build here: http://lwjgl.org/for...c,4711.105.html
Can someone give me (the grandma) some quick and easy guidance as to how to get this to work on a new MacBook Pro that is using OS8. Or do I need to change it back to OS 7 ?? Or download a different Java version?
