Hello everyone, thanks for looking into my post. I'm having issues running Minecraft on a brand new laptop
Lenovo E430
Windows 7 (64bit) Home Premium
Intel HD Graphics 4000
6 GB RAM
Intel i7 2.10GHz Processor
Latest version of Java, and the Graphics driver is installed on the computer
Only modification is WorldEdit, and MCPatcher to run 32x32 texture (JohnSmith)
I get about 19-22fps, no matter what is running in the background, and even if I force update and run just vanilla Minecraft it is barely any better. Optifine (oddly enough) didn't improve the performace.Running Minecraft at Normal or Far distance seems to barely change anything and even if I use a game booster like Razor it hardly goes above 25fps.I can run all sorts of background programs (even heavy virus scans) and it doesn't seem to interfere with the fps, but it still bothers me how I can barely get higher than 22fps. Is there anything else I can try?
