Hello everyone! I am posting this to see if anyone would know why my controls, at random and multiple times during when I am playing, will just start twitching out?! Here's what I mean: I will be placing a long row of blocks in creative mode, when all of a sudden, I start moving the opposite direction of the way my camera is facing! Or, I will be jumping in survival mode, or flying in creative mode, and I start acting like the Shift key is being held down, when I'm not even touching it on my keyboard!
Here are my computer specs:
Intel Pentium 1.40GhZ Processor
1.5 GB RAM
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 Mobile
30 GB HD
Windows XP
Hopefully, someone will be able to help a bit, because it's really beginning to tick me off
Whoa, 1.5GB of RAM? That's it? You need at least 2GB of RAM, and that's just for minimum quality, if you want high quality, you get 4+GB of RAM. And Windows XP isn't the best.
I'm more concerned about the 1.4ghz processor. Typically these 'stuck key' issues tend to get really bad on a minimal machine that is struggling to run minecraft.
That being said, you might try updating lwjgl and see if that helps at all.
Well, I'm not saying to put your computer into a blast furnace and hope for gold. I'm saying that maybe you need to download more RAM.
ya, I know you weren't when i get a part time job, i plan on saving some money up to build my own "fun time/gaming" computer, and use this laptop that im on right now for college stuff. Any recommendations for processors or how much RAM i should put in the computer I'm going to be (hopefully) building?

thanks for the tip! i just downloaded lwjgl to see if it helps, and if it does, I'll let you know!

I updated lwjgl to the latest version (2.8.5) and it caused my controls to twitch out even more. now that i deleted what i updated, though, and restored it back to how it was in the bin folder, Minecraft works just fine! None of the twitching out like i had before, either! AWESOME!!

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
