Hi everybody. Now the following problem occured about a week ago and I do not know how to fix it and I know Windows caused the problem. This happened when I was playing on my friends server the other day. My friend knows a great deal about computers and Minecraft servers but he couldn't seem to help me with this problem of mine. The other day I was on his server with my friend and my computer froze. It wouldn't turn off or do anything so the only option I had was to force shutdown on my computer by holding the power button (Note: My computer is a two year old Toshiba Satellite). Once my computer started back up I re-opened Minecraft and logged back into the server. That's when I started noticing problems. I was lagging quite hard and then all of the sudden a message from windows popped up saying the following, "Windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart in one minute. Please save your work". I began to question and freak a little bit because I have never ever seen this message nor had this happen to my computer before. Once it restarted, it seemed like it pretty much fixed itself, but Minecraft seemed to be acting odd. When I open up Minecraft and log into the server I lag extremely bad, like this is lag i had never dealt with before, it was intense. When I log into other servers I am perfectly fine, lag free. The only server I lag on though is my friends server. I believe that since I was on the server when Windows encountered the error it now completely messes up my connection when I log onto the server, and the lag never stops too. My friends don't get lag when they log on yet I do. I know my internet is good because when i hover over the server in my server list it says I have 180ms. Please, I don't know what to do and I only lag on that server not any other server. Please help me, I really want to go back to playing with my friends.
