I have mods installed, but i deleted the META-INF folder.
If there's mods downloaded, then why did you post here? This belongs in the modified client support.
If it's anything, one of your mods are crashing Minecraft. Delete the minecraft.jar and the minecraft-1.4.5.jar file. After that, open the launcher and then click on Options and then click force update. Then click log in.
I tried force updating, and while it seemed to work, I reinstalled Forge (the latest version), and right after the Mojang screen, it goes straight to a black screen. I deleted the META-INF folder and everything. I don't know if the Minecraft launcher is just acting weird today or what.

I honestly didn't realize this was the unmodified client support board. My bad.
I tired deleting the minecraft.jar files (I only had the 1.4.2 client because i got it when it was still on 1.4.2, but now when I click the launcher and login, it freezes at the Done loading screen.
If so, did you delete META-INF?
