Hello! I recently changed out the innards of my PC. I got a new hard drive and got new and more RAM. I did nothing to anything else. Now, when I launch MC, I get an error message stating that I have "Bad video card drivers". I did not mess around with mine, and I really want to play with my friends again. Here is a direct copy and paste of the message, please help:

Update your video card drivers. get one that supports OpenGL.

Alot of posts will tell you to update video card drivers in different ways., but the way i got mine to work was to rollback video card driver. If updating doesn't work then try to rollback the video card driver

Don't bother with the other posts. I have the same problem. It's not your card it's windows 8. I have the same problem and as they tell me they have "NO" plans for updating minecraft so it can run on windows. So we're SCREWED once again by "Notch". TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN.. I did buy the Xbox360 version. Leave it to Microsoft to fix other peoples mistakes and get it right. Now most of my friends are on it and it runs like a dream. The computer version their trying to get away from and leave it to die or let people mod the crap out of it.

But the thing is, my friends have Windows 8 too and it runs fine for them....

If you have windows 8 your screwed. Even though you paid for the game you can't use it on any windows 8 or 8.1. forget the game and move on to one that updates. Paid for a game that I can't use and couldn't get a refund. To me that's just stealing.
