Hey everyone, I decided to quickly make an account here because of I problem I am facing...

So, I was casually playing Minecraft, until I didn't play again since 1.4.5... Now, when I try to log on, (Survival 1.4.5) I cannot break blocks without the correct tools. Some blocks I can not even break with the correct tools.

I was wondering if this was a problem or if it was meant to be this way.

Nope, I am in Survival mode. And yes, I can place blocks and items.

No, you are in adventure mode. Ever since the 1.4 update you can place blocks in adventure mode and can only break blocks with the proper tools. Which blocks won't break with the correct tolls?

All of them. Leaves, wood, dirt, pumpkins... Anything. How can I check if I'm in adventure mode?

I have a similar problem but with the Technic SSP. I know there is a website to deal with this problem but I couldent be bothered since they didnt reply. I can break blocks however, the broken item dosent show up on the floor and all the entities in the world stop moving. Furthermore I cant do things like going to the nether and falling/drowning damage dont work. I was wondering what the problem is?
