Ok so I've had this problem for a few days now, it was working one day and now it isn't. My friends has a server he is renting from host horde, and I had no trouble logging into it, but now it's all messed up. Everytime I have tried to log into any server now I get in, when I mine nothing drops and I can'topen chests, I'm only on for about 10 seconds before I get kicked out with this error: Connection Lost - Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error
Any help would be appreciated!
Also, sometimes when I'm logging I get a problem Java(TM) platform binary has stopped working

I have re-installed minecraft and java and it didn't work
I'm running a Windows 7 64-bit and I have the right version of java
sounds like a possible server side problem, is it possible to get a look at the server.log for the time around when you log in to when your kicked out?
ask your friend to go into the server folder and grab a copy of the file server.log, open it with notepad and copy/paste the relivent part onto pastebin.com and then link the page.
the log is time coded so it should be easy to find the parts we need to see
