I do have modloader plus optifine and a ticket system mod used by my server installed but the same problem occurs with or without them.

So ya, it thinks you Minecraft is modded, it also says no RAM is being dedicated to Minecraft. So take your saves and put them on your desktop. Check to make sure you can log into Minecraft because people are having trouble lately, delete Minecraft, re-download it. If that doesn't work. Drag Minecraft launcher to desktop, open text edit, Command+Shift+T, yes,
cd desktop
cd "minecraft.app"
cd contents
cd resources
cd java
java -Xmx1Gm -Xms1Gm -jar Minecraftlauncher.jar nogui
save as start.command
open terminal, wait 10 seconds for it to load,
chmod a+x *space* click and drag the start.command into terminal Edit: I hope your smart enough not to type *space*
But ramo for example does so I need someone with a mac to reply please. I can't just find a loop hole in our system's blocks because everything that you could use to find a loophole is blocked. So what I need is a way to get more ram space without needing console or terminal.
Your school provides macbooks? Jesus. So, you can't use terminal, but you can download arbitrary files. This requires more than a palm to the face. *Face to the palm* Well it's a school computer no wonder it doesn't work. I'm not even sure if I can get myself to say it but *makes constipation sounds* Magi-magic launcher. *phew* Try that as a last resort..
Ok so I downloaded it and went to config. the memory to 700mb and clicked test. It works now but I can't connect to minecraft.net. Is this something I'm going to have to just wait it out.
