For a few months, I've been unable to open my worlds to LAN. I get the right IP address and everything, but when someone on my network tries to connect, it doesn't work (they get connection error). Any idea why this could be?
I'm a wired connection and they're on wireless, but it goes through the same router, with the same SSID and settings and everything, so I don't think that's the problem.
EDIT: Did a bit more testing. When the other person tries to scan for LAN worlds, nothing shows up, and they can't connect to the IP address/port number Minecraft gives me. When they open a LAN world, I do see their world when scanning for LAN worlds, but after trying to connect for about 45 seconds it times out. Tried using an unmodified version of my minecraft.jar (straight from Mojang), and the world doesn't show up when scanning. Also, tried on the WiFi connection, still nothing.
