I have an ASUS K52Jc Intel Core i5 CPU with 4gb RAM and lots of space on my pc. It's a 64 bit pc but trust me i've looked into all the 64 bit downloads of java and it didn't help.
My minecraft is on the absolute bare graphic settings,
my pc is on high performance,
I've set the priority of minecraft in the task manager to high,
I've added the optifine mod,
I've uninstalled and deleted all java then re installed the correct updated one
yet still I get 20 FPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm starting to feel sick in the stomach from looking into this issue.
There was a thread on here, or maybe it was another minecraft forum or something about changing the NVIDIA control panel to high performance and there were heaps of comments saying thanks so much it worked but I swear i've done the NVIDIA high performance setting change exactly as it was instructed and it did not do anything at all.
I'm stumped. I'm good with computers but i have absolutely no idea what to do at all now. PLEASE HELP, Minecraft is pretty much unplayable with the fog settings to tiny and even then i'm still lagging all the time at a max of 30 fps.
If you could help me fix this I would love it. Thanks in advance if you can
