Ok, so I've had this issue for a while now but so far I have managed to avoid and get around it by simply modding MC with MC Patcher. This issue is related to vanilla Minecraft despite the fact its affecting me adding mods.
(Im not too sure if i should stick this post in Modded minecraft support but i figure it's an issue with vanilla minecraft and should stay here)
Basically I'm unable to access and open my Minecraft.jar folder in order to add mods.
When ever I try to open it I receive an error message saying "Invalid or corrupt .jar file".
I've already tried redownloading minecraft and deleting it's files but the .jar file is always corrupt and inaccessible.
Any idea's?
I'm yet to find anyone else that has this problem.
Thanks, that seems to have worked. Its strange I never used to have this problem. I just had to open it like you would with any other files and it would automatically open with Winrar.
Thanks a bunch. Im kind of annoyed now that the solution was right there the whole time.
