Ummmmm....I've been playing for nearly a year, and there's one thing I really don't get. I read something about pressing F3 and seeing something about the level that you're on. Whenever I try that, my computer just shows me all of the programs I have open. I really need this feature for my mining so I don't die a fiery death. How would I make this work on my computer? Is this only available with a server (which I don't have) or mods (which I don't have either)? Help!

I'm pretty sure on a Mac you have to press the alt/option key, hold it, and then press F3. Let us know how that goes.

I tried that, and it isn't working. It opened my system preferences.

You can change this (if you want) so that you have to press the Fn key to get the special function in the keyboard settings.

That didn't work either. It didn't do anything.
