So, a few month ago I made a suggestion for adding a quit button, but supposidly there already is one. I recently came across the topic and realised this. I decided to check to make sure I hadn't just missed it, and, well, it's not there. Does anybody know why?
Here's a picture of my main menu for proof:
Any help would be appreciated. I am currently hitting f11 before closing because I have to, and it is really becoming a neusance.
I always have Optifine installed. I don't see how that would change anything, but I guess it's worth mentioning jus in case. The only thing I could think of is that the quit button would be a part of the META-INF folder. Again, in case this helps, it's here now.
Updated to a clean 100% vanilla jar and it didn't help. Still no quit button.
Wow. That's weird. You might want to try deleting your .minecraft folder, and then reinstalling. And if your concerned about your saves, you can just take them out of the save's folder and put them back in once redownloaded.

I know about saves, but I don't see how that would work. The same files will be downloaded and read form the jar, so it seems like it'd just be a waste of time. There are no mod files in my .minecraft that would affect this.

Has this happened to you before?
Just thought of something. Updating OP now.
