I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 and since I installed Windows 8 I've been having issues with Minecraft. I usually get around over 100 FPS while playing minecraft.
Ever since I installed Windows 8, my minecraft plays well, then it stops and the cpu locks itself at 0.75GHz (when I have a quad-core 2.50GHz processor), and then a few minutes later it will go back up and not be laggy. It does this off and on and I'd like to know if anyone else had an issue similar to this, and if they know a fix.
I somehow solved the issue by reinstalling Windows 8 but installing different drivers this time for my graphics. Can a staff member please remove this thread or close it? Thanks!
