I have had Minecraft since August. I used Minecraft 2 days ago, I tried to use it one hour ago and I got a black screen in return. I have read many many forms looking for helpful threads but I could not find anything.




I have not tried to download in any mods, just so you know.



I did try to download a texture pack but I never put it on Minecraft.


Who knows whats happening? The sooner I get help the better.


I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I am new to the forms.

First suggestion is always to force update. That usually clears up most problems.

When exactly did the black screen happen? be more precise please,like on main menu? or when loading a world?
try deleting your bin then update it,if that doesn't work then try the demo version on your computer,if it works then the problem is on your .minecraft,if it doesn't then its your computer problem

Have you tried force updating?
