I am having an issue with MC. sometimes when i sprint i sprint for a quater of a second and then it disables... I hear it happens to many people. Is there a way i can fix this? anything i can do??? it happens on multiplayer. i cant remember it happening on singleplayer. please help. Any suggestions on how i can fix this? is it a bug or is it just a feature of mc? It sucks when it happens on parkour.
As of right now there is no current solution to this problem. Know that many people too have experienced this problem (such as I) and it has angered us all. Mojang I am sure are trying to fix it as I'm sure plenty of people have reported this bug, but otherwise, nothing can really be done. I also seem to about 25% of the time go in and out of sprinting. I generally find that pushing the button down really hard helps with this. Only problem is that it may kinda stuff up your keyboard :/
There is a mod fix for this (A button that you hold down to sprint).

Thanks for showing me this link. I hope it helps but some servers say that "auto running is a hack so dont use it or your banned" so is this what they are talking about?

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.

Your computer has no way of sensing the pressure you apply to your keyboard. It only knows how many times you hit it, not how hard.
