when I start a world it works perfectly fine but then once I get about 2 hours to 3 hours into it, it wont work sometimes it doesnt evan show up in my worlds when I go to the launcher or it just freezes but I do %appdata% and in .minecraft look at saves and the save is still there I just cant get into the world and I dont know whats going on. PLEASE HELP!!! P.S I play on a laptop but it still gets decent FPS but its not the best PC.
That's really weird. I've never heard of anything like that... Does his happen if you log out and back in before playing for 2-3 hours, or does the world stop working after 2-3 hours total?
Do you do any exploring towards those last few minutes or do anything new?
It's just odd to have a world just randomly become corrupt after a few hours... Perhaps it's a computer issue...? Have you tried playing your old worlds after turning off your computer and returning after an hour of not using it?

What I would do first is make a backup of the save file. Next, delete your world. Then, use the backup file to re-load it. If that doesn't work, then make sure you aren't playing in an extremely old version of Minecraft by accident (i.e. 1.8.1 or something). Even if it's not that old (i.e. 1.3.2), you should still try updating to 1.4.5. Even if you don't want to, you may have to use hacks to hack into the save file and see what's wrong with it. Make sure there are no viruses on your computer. If the problem still isn't solved after this, contact the Mojang Help Center (you can find a link to that on minecraft.net).
I just got minecraft PC this Christmas. I started to play it the day after Christmas, and then I started making my own worlds, but two weeks later, it started acting really weird. And it's still acting weird. The reason why it's because it would only let me play demo. I did play the demo world, but I don't want to play demo anymore. I want to go back to the worlds I created. I try to log out of demo but then it's just forcing me to log back in again. Would anyone help me?!
