So I am using a asus laptop that has:
RAM: 4 gigs
Processor: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
System type: 64-bit Operating System
So what I am wondering a couple of things that have encountered b/c of a error that is ing me off
To start my error is that whenever i get on servers I tend to not be able to play long(happens randomly) and gives me the dreaded error: Internal Expection:JAVA.NET.SOCKETTIMEOUTEXEPTION: READ TIMED OUT
My internet speed shouldn't be a problem and I have tried connecting to pretty much any type of server you can think of and I get this error.
What I have gathered from looking this up it could be to due with running minecraft on java 32-bit instead of java 64 bit. I looked up how to find it and all I got was that I should check in my program files and program files(x86)
I gathered that the x86 file contains java 64 bit. However I have java in both x86 and in the regular program folder. I tried deleting my java in the regular folder and then my minecraft wouldn't launch so I am wondering how do I make my minecraft launch only from my java -64 bit.

Retired StaffSo you deleted the 64 bit version.
How does that make sense? I thought 32-bit computers didn't have x86 folder...
