Have seen a few posts about this problem, but not with my exact issue, or in fact any solid fixes.
When i try to connect to a (previously working) server, I can connect fine, and then after about 30 secs i get bumped off with this message:
internal exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
Several of my friends can log in to the same server, and i can also from other machines. Including a borrowed laptop from my house, just not my desktop.
I have reinstalled java (both 32 and 64) and ive stuffed around with dns flushing, but nothing works...
The odd thing is, i can connect to a privately hosted server (run by a friend from his pc) but i can't stay connected to a hosted server. eg.. minez, skymc, etc.
