I've been trying to connect to Minecraft servers on two different computers. One is a MacBook on OS X 10.5.8 (its kind of old so it won't update any higher than that), and the other is a PC Desktop on Windows 7.
Both say the same thing. Every time i put any address it says:
"Failed to connect to server Connection Timed out: connect"
and when I go to Multiplayer, it just says:
"Scanning for LAN Worlds"
and just stays loading like that no matter how long I leave it.
I have even tried it on different internet connections.
What's going on?
I have tried force update, uninstalling and reinstalling, and i also tried playing in the browser but it still won't work.
Warning: class files found within the minecraft directory
They can cause for issues while starting minecraft.
Did you unpack a jar file?
The explorer extension binding can tell that the jar was zip
But it is really not a zip
continuing anyway
Trying to start the minecraft.jar
==End of pre-tests and info, minecraft starts here==
