For some reason starting in the last couple of days ive had trouble getting through to servers on direct connect. I enter the address and it will sort of freeze for about 25 seconds then try to connect. This is a problem when trying to get into servers with a maxium occupency so Please Help!
I can't recall doing anything that would have started the problem so post me things to troubleshoot. Thanks!
It might be your internet, and it might be the way you attempt to connect. I need some questions answered:
1. How good is your internet when you try to connect?
2. Are the servers cracked? (Offline-mode: true)
3. Are you using a legal, premium copy of Minecraft?
Also, might wanna try clicking Add Server, entering the IP and clicking done. Then select that server and click Join.
Ive got good internet, no problems with the speed at all
The servers are fine because ive connected to them before
And yeah ive got a premium copy.
-Ive also tryed adding the server and connecting that way, i get the same result
Like i said the problems started just a couple of days ago, ive connect to the same servers at the same place from my house many times before

Now I have more questions, seeing as how none of the earlier ones were the problem:
1. What Operating System do you use?
2. Do you use a 32-bit OS or 64-bit OS>
3. How much RAM do you have?
There is a 25 second pause before it trys to connect. and no i can connect if the server is not full, there is no failed to connect. but by the time the connection is established the server is already full

Do you mean that there is a 25 second pause before connecting? Or does it fail to connect?
A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
