I knew how to fix it but it isn't there any more, here's a link to how I try to fix it
Err, you're always supposed to have updated drivers. That's not the video card's fault- it's yours. Or maybe it's just windows 8... I heard Minecraft has some issues with that.

Actually, no. Windows 8 runs Minecraft fine for me. Even the pre-release builds of Windows 8 ran it fine once I got the video card drivers working.

ignor what windows says about the driver being upto date or not.
go here http://support.amd.c...SupportHub.aspx and make sure yourself, remember as your using windows 8 it maybe possible amd hasn't made windows 8 drivers for that card yet.

Moderatorgo here http://support.amd.c...SupportHub.aspx and make sure yourself, remember as your using windows 8 it maybe possible amd hasn't made windows 8 drivers for that card yet.
EDIT:- I beleive these are the right drivers http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/catalystlegacywin8.aspx for your graphics card.
I'm quite sure this will work as well. What do you think, webrosc?
A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
