Please help me when i add more ram when i add 2gb 2048 it keeps giving me this error

{JAVA Virtual Machine Launcher}
Error:Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error:A Fatal Exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Please help me My Theories are:

Because my java cant carry it or i need another java application

Because im using 32 bit?

I have 32 bit windows
I have 4 gb ram
Windows 7 ultimate
Minecraft Version 1.4.5

Trying using magic launcher from these forums, I had the same problem. I downloaded and used magic launcher and went into advanced options and made minecraft use more memory
