Left-Click in Inventory not working

Ok, so, when I updated my minecraft to 1.4.2, everything was going great untill I went into my inventory. To my horror my left-click no longer works in it! It works on other programs and my computer usage in general however just not in minecraft. I have been trying to put up with it and just using my right-click but it is horrendous!!! Yes it is good but only when you want it for that SPECIFIC reason. Please help,

Try deleting the options.txt file out of the .minecraft folder.

If that doesn't work, try updating LWJGL: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/LWJGL

Thankyou soooooo much! It worked! Yes I have to recalibrate all my key settimgs but I have wanted to do that in a long time. Hitting 2 birds with one stone! Again, thankyou soooooooooo much!!!
