So yeah it works on chrome kinda, its laggy though. Id much rather run from the exe. But I cant since it has the virtual machine error thing. I downloaded the latest java version from java.com and the java sdk from oracle and I still get the error from the exe. I have windows 7 32 bit, 8gb ram (3 usable, other 5 is on ramdisk) radeon 6850, amd phenom ii x4 965 3.4ghz quad core, I think I could run minecraft fairly well. Anyways I'd appreciate any help thanks.
How did you know 'Virtual Machine error' if you didn't get a crash report of some kind? I believe minecraft crash reports are put in a folder in the .minecraft install location and java crashes usually put a report on your desktop.
If there are none, you can run this error test report and post a copy here.

Well when I try to run minecraft.exe this pops up http://i.imgur.com/qIqUU.jpg and nothing else. I'll try the error test report then.

Java isn't able to allocate enough space for the Heap.
I notice this line about your memory in the test report:
Physical memory: 8192 MB installed, 3067 MB available, 1602 MB free
You have 8 GB installed on a machine running a 32bit OS. As you can see the 32bit OS is only able to use 3 GB of that RAM and the rest is pretty much just wasted.
You might try using this method to allocate ram to Java to see if it helps. The above report indicates you have 1602 MB free. I probably wouldn't go over 1500 max.
I'm kind of wondering if your unusable ram is making java screw up on it's allocation.

Well im using some of it for a ramdisk, so I have no idea.I'll try the thing you linked though.
Ok i tried doing what you linked and it still pops up with the error. I tried setting it to 768, 1500, 1000, 1024 and all nothing. I do need to get windows 7 64bit eventually so I will have to do a fresh install of everything, that might fix it. I just need to wait till I have money for it

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Don't give up just yet. Perhaps someone else here will have some solutions. I believe this is solvable, we just got to figure out why Java can't find enough space to start up.

Thanks sir! I also tried rebooting but it still doesn't work. Worse comes to worse Ill just play in my browser and deal with the lag. At least I can play huh? Before I couldn't. Java would'nt work AT all on my PC, on chrome, firefox, or actual programs. Somehow today it fixed itself after i installed the latest version so thats good I guess. Thanks again. Have a nice day
WHOLLY FACEPALM. Winblows is on service pack 3 is it not? Your crash log says you are only on the first. Find a way to download those 2, that will more than likely fix your problem.

And, were did you put exactly? Because I have the same problem...
In command prompt. Navigate to your minecraft.exe find and naviagte to minecraftlauncher.jar I think the command is javaw -Xmx1G -Xms512m -jar minecraftlauncher.jar
Alright change the two values -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M to -Xmx1350M -Xms1350M and now its good again. I really need to get 64 bit windows. I feel that would fix all my issues.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

Ahh, I hadn't thought about a ramdisk. I've never dabbled with that so not sure what all is involved.
