Seeds don't work. AT ALL. I put them in, and I'm just in a normal world, nothing in the seed is there, I look around, nothing. Any help?

If so, then perhaps you're just not looking in the right coordinates for the seed or you're using a seed that was from a previous version and the world generator has changed since then.
I'm pretty sure you don't know what a seed is. A seed is a numbered code (letters will be translated to numbers) for the terrain generator to use and create a normal world. Every world with the same seed is the same (except buildings of course). The seed is just a direction for the terrain generator. Also, make sure you are not trying to use seeds from 1.8 into the newer versions. The terrain gen has changed since then.
I did do it that way. My friend had that problem, but it oddly went away. I do go into the correct section.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
