We have a 2 year old HP Pavillion dm4-1160us laptop which isn't giving very good frame rate performance (5-15 FPS for "std" settings). I'd like to know what kind of frame rates to expect and what tweaks might work.
It has the following specs:
Intel Core i5-450
4G Main memory DDR3-SDRAM
Window Home Premium 64 bit
Using Minecraft running on Java 64
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms512M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
Intel HD Graphics 75mB Graphics Memory, 2394 MHz Video
Built in display - 1366x768, 32bit color, 60 Hz refresh
Minecraft settings(from hardware settings report page):
Smooth Lighting: on
Clouds:on
MaxFPS
Render:Far
Vsync: On
Particles: Minimun
Graphics: Fast
I know I can tweek the MC settings like render normal, but I'd like to know what I should expect to know if something is set wrong.
Thanks
