I updated to 1.4.5 and my only saved world was half deleted when i loaded it. I really don't want to spend time rebuilding my city, is there anyone who has also had this problem? Can anyone help?
I'm having the same problem, it's not so much a deletation, but a large square section of the map has been replaced with a completely different biome...
I've tried reloading my backup copy of the world, but in the new server update it remains gone. I'm wondering if there is some patch that can be made to the world file that would fix this whole problem.
Over half of the structures my small 3-man private server have just vanished, and a lot of work went into building. I hope this issue is being looked into.

MCEdit can be used to fix this somewhat.

Cause the world could be saved that way or...
You could just get a old clean jar and try it out
