seriously no fake

im not using any skins nor mods nor anything, also i play in offline mode so i cant use skins

i was playing on a server my friend has using bukkit
we didnt knew how to be ops but i noticed the ops.txt

but since my friend is the server i changed my name into one of the ops on the txt

so when i logged in, i was herobrine

so what happened here, my char.png isnt modified and im playing in offline mode,
my friend was a normal steve

so what happened here
it is something from bukkit?

My best guess is you have or had a texture pack or mod that has replaced the default steve skin on your client.
