My Minecraft lag a lot I have been download and installed an Optifine mod but it stills lagging does it have any ways to stop it? I want my minecraft to be 64 fps up or more! (Now I'm on 24 fps)
Laptop specs:
BIOS: BIOS Ver 04.06.04
Processor: AMD E-450 APU /w Radeon HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 6GB RAM
DirectX11
32-bit
Is it have any way to fix this? If it have please tell me.
Install the newest Java version, Set the Minecraft video settings down.
I am afraid to say but your processor is not that good. Many laptops are having problems with minecraft, try to have something under the computer that the CPU fan can get a free space.
You have 1.6Hz and i have 3.3Hz and thats much better, i run MC on like 70FPS full settings
The easy way, buy a new computer
Just update all drivers that affect minecraft including getting Java 7 something latest update. I have pretty good without optifine, what is your OS? I have Windows XP Media Center Edition.
Part of your problem is that 32-bit can only use 3.2GB(AROUND) of RAM. So change to 64-bit and that could help.
No, he has a 32 bit OS, installing a 64 bit version of java would break everything. If he bought a new OS, he could, but his computer is so old that it's not worth it. You are correct though, having 6GB of ram on a 32 bit machine is a waste, as the computer can't use all that it has.
OP:
I highly suggest looking into the possibility of a new computer. The one you have is quite bad for gaming, and you'll not receive 60+ FPS with that rig set up. Not really a whole lot you can do, other than turn all graphical settings off.

Actually he probably has a 64-bit OS. 32-bit Java is limited to about 1.5GB once the Java process is accounted for. Try reducing the amount of ram that Minecraft uses for a heap (it only needs like 256MB or so...) It will also help to install 64-bit Java if the OS is indeed 64-bit as suspected.

I think the previous poster was referring to the OS and not the process. If it was Java itself then it would be limited to about 1.5GB (as I stated a bit higher in this same post. ~3.2GB would be about right for an entire OS allocation due to 32-bit addressing being capped at 4GB total and hardware needing part of it.
