Pretty much as simple as that. After I bought minecraft I tried updating it (in browser) and just before it finished it crashed. Then I decided that I would actually download it. After it finished downloading I put it in the /applications folder then I tried to open it but it failed and said that the file was damaged. That's all I can say about this please help me.
