So i have been having an issue with minecraft freezing on me in the most random of ways. It doesnt happen on start up, or at any other point during gameplay...... until i'm close to a bat. It seems if i'm in the same chunk as a bat (this includes 16 blocks on the y axis too, not just x and z. so they have to enter my personal space) minecraft becomes immediately unresponsive.
It has become impossible to test build on a flat world or get anywhere close to a cave, and if one spawns next to me, that world is as good as frozen to me, because the bat will freeze me upon logging in. I have replaced all my drivers, i have force updated minecraft, i have the most recent 64 bit java without duplicates, and the 32 bit java did not help me out much at all. As far as i can tell this is a unique problem that no one else, or very few people seem to have and i can not figure this out or find an answer online. And from what i can tell, theres no way to receive a crash report unless you actually crash, so it seems i cant even get a report on why its freezing
I am running windows 7 64 bit with an all asus built computer, 8 gigs of ram and a great processor. Everything is hooked up and interacting correctly, its only the minecraft bat that seems to be an issue. Could anyone help, i'm beginning to lose hope.
