Okay, before you go on and tell me there are more then enough topics about this, hear me out. I bought this new laptop. Minecraft doesn't run good on normal render distance and fast graphics. So I was pretty disappointed, but I didn't loose all hope. I installed the Optifine mod (ultra version), made a few tweaks, and still it lags pretty bad. I got this laptop FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE TO PLAY MINECRAFT ON A HIGHER RENDER DISTANCE THEN SHORT! I have been playing Minecraft on tiny render distance for almost 2 years now, and it is really bothering me. Tiny IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH. So anyway, after Optifine failed me, I tried using Razer Game Booster. Obviously, this made no changes. I'm really, really, REALLY frustrated. I have been waiting forever to play Minecraft at normal or far with fancy graphics, and my new laptop hasn't made any changes. So i'm asking the Minecraft forum for help. Please be polite, and understand how frustrated I am. Here are the laptops specs. Please give suggestions on how I can run Minecraft faster.

Most (if not all) laptops don't come with a dedicated video card, so that could be why you're lagging and not seeing high frames. Your CPU is not very good also for playing minecraft. If you can, I would suggest building or buying a gaming desktop.

The only thing I can think of is to play with no other programs running. Other than that, it's purely on the hardware side. If it's your chunks that are not loading correctly, or if you're having world generation issues, you can try pressing F3 + A. This forces minecraft to reload all of the chunks.. Sorry man. That's all I can really suggest.

The problem with the laptop is the Intel integrated graphics. You not going to get very good performance with it.

The best advice I can offer is to follow the tips in this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1342544-guidehow-to-increase-fps-v17-now-with-video/
It's the best bet for low end systems.

I found the solution guys

I'm not sure if every version of windows 7 has this, or if this is a ASUS only feature, but if you click the battery and change your battery plan to entertainment, Minecraft will run great! I hope this helps for some of you guys! Also, thanks for your guys suggestions!
