After I deleted everything in the minecraft folder because i wanted to start fresh, i redownloaded minecraft so i can have all my default settings. I think i might have deleted the minecraft.jar file in the minecraft that i had just deleted. After I redownloaded and tried to add mods, THE JAR FILE IS NOT THERE. Instead there is a file that says "minecraft" and when i try to open it it says "error invalid, corrupt jar file" so im guessing me deleting everything in my previous minecraft messed up my jar file.

Well, it depends on what you were using. If you used 7zip FM or Winrar, I don't know what to do, but if you used Windows Explorer or something like that, its just normal like that. Also, watch SCMowns2's mod reviews/tutorials to find out about mods.
