This happens when I try to launch minecraft, I have never had this problem before and have gone through numerous steps to fix it but to no evail. I have tried to update the driver but it says that it is already updeated. I have uninstalled my driver and then rolled it back but it still won't work. Incase you need to know: I have a windows 7 64 bit hp pavilion desktop. Bad video card drivers!
----------------------- Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

First what you need to do is go to the NVIDIA site, or just click this link. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
After that page loads up, leave it there, and go to run. after you open up run, which you can find in the search bar, you need to type, "dxdiag" in the box below. it will then open up a new page. when on that page, clcik "display" in the top left corner. After clicking display, it have a bar that says "Name:". on that Name: bar is the information you need to fill out on the NVIDIA page.
after filling in the boxes on the nvidia site, click download. Thats all
(if this does not work, please write me back. Or just add me on skype, and i could help there.)
