I opened up minecraft to play the new update and when I click update now it reaches 11% and then does not go any further. I have reinstalled 9 times and still no luck. I have have pressed force update with no luck. I am using no mods.
I believe that you should delete your bin folder in the .Minecraft directory (on windows) or the bin folder in the Application Support-Minecraft directory (on mac).
