Windows 7 64bit movement keys do not work

So I downloaded my full version of 1.4 onto my new laptop. It is 64 bit and Windows 7.

I create a new world and it starts but there is a slight shimmering or shaking of the camera and movement keys are not working.

Mouse clicks and other keys like inventory or talk keys work fine.

Ideas?

not sure. Perhaps try updating the lwjgl and see if that helps.

I doubt this would cause your issue, but make sure you got the 64bit version of Java.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
