Hello Recently iv'e been using hamachi to connect my friends MineCraft server but all of a sudden when i try opening hamachi it says that it cant connect to the engine and so it wont open up. I was wondering if there was any other programs like hamachi that you guys know of that will allow me to be able to play on my friends server when were not in the same household. Thanks So much for your Replies i hope to get a new program asap or my Hamachi fixed Cant wait to start playing my favorite game again!

While I am not aware of any hamachi substitutes, you could have your friend port forward and skip the need for Hamachi altogether. just look around on the internet, there's plenty of great tutorials on it.
You can just do port-fowarding and put a whitelist if you just want friends coming in. It's actually really easy to do, I don't know why it's such a struggle for other people. You would go to 192.168.1.1 in your browser and put in the password for your router when it asks you. If you don't have one set then the default would just be "admin" (No Quotations). Then you would go to port range fowarding and you would put the ports as 25565. It will also have something like this... 192.168.1.xxx. To find out the xxx part you would open your CMD which can be opened by searching for it with the Windows button. When the CMD is open you type IPconfig and the one that says "IPv4" is the one you would copy. It would say something like 192.168.1.103 for example. So if it was .103 at the end you would fill in the blank space in your router with .103 instead of xxx.
Hamachi switched around some of their servicing and IP addresses. If it's Hamachi you're having a problem with, definitely switch services if you can't get no satisfaction. If it's connecting on minecraft servers with Hamachi, it's most likely the IP address changes that everyone has to update. For example, my IP added a 2 at the beginning of the address.
