Hey guys, i'm having some trouble and it's really bugging me.
Whenever i see a cave, or anything covered by a block for that matter, it is completely pitch black.
I can't seem to make it go away unless i walk right into it.
I'm too lazy to go on a lighting crusade, so i need answers on how to get rid of it permenantly!
There is no fix, it's an issue with the lighting engine. There are tools to tell the game to update lighting calculations, but as soon as the chunk unloads and then reloads the issue will be back.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
