I have a massive problem which I believe to be referred to as "microstutters"
My problem is basically that while playing minecraft, my fps is quite high, however it is constantly lowering and going back up in a split second. It's getting annoying enough that I have stopped playing due to how terrible it looks with the constant stuttering. Oddly enough, when in the esc menu, the lag spikes go down to basically nothing at all.
Pics:
In this one, it is showing the normal game running, then where you see the white bars stop is where went into the esc menu.
This is a picture of the game running normally (as you can see the white bars are the microstutters)Edit: Just tested on 1.4.5, same problem
Edit 2: Tested in 1.4.5 for a while longer, the problem seems to be mostly fixed. Testing 1.4.4 again...

I NO LONGER USE THIS ACCOUNT MY NEW ACCOUNT IS YWZMATT!!!
You are asking in the wrong section, your client is modded with Optifine.
Yet you put this topic in Unmodified Client section.
Also this is normal sometimes, large tick/chunk updates.
Alongside that you do not give computer specifications or anything like that.
I only used optifine to see the weird green and red lagometer thing.
The lag is noticeably the same in vanilla.
I definitely can't judge you for that though, as there are many idiots who would probably come here to post about their heavily modded clients. Either way, optifine is only there to show the microstutters, since they are there with optifine or not.

The problem seems kind of fixed, but does anyone know a true fix to the issue?
(Like I said, disregard that I have optifine, as the microstutters are there even without it)
